Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds are and are not available for Qubit Quant licences. Every Expert Advisor we publish is free to download and backtest first, so you can fully evaluate it before you pay. Read this Policy together with our Terms, Privacy Policy, Risk Disclosure and Cookie Policy.

⚠On-chain USDT payments cannot be reversed by anyone — not you, not us, not any processor. Because every EA is free to try before you buy, we do not refund change of mind or trading outcomes — but this does not affect the statutory rights you have if a licence is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality.

1Who We Are & What This Covers

"We", "us", "our" and "Qubit Quant" mean [[ENTITY]], the two-engineer software publisher that operates the Qubit Quant website, tools and licences.

"You" and "your" mean the person or entity that downloads, licenses, or pays for the Services.

"The Services" mean our website, the free quant tools (in beta), the MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisors we license (such as Trident), the activation keys that unlock them, and any related support.

We are a software publisher. We are not a broker, fund, investment adviser, portfolio manager, or signal service, and we do not hold, manage, or trade your money. Nothing in this Policy or the Services is financial or investment advice.

This Policy governs refunds only. Your licence rights, warranties disclaimed, and liability limits are set out in full in the Terms; trading risk is covered in the Risk Disclosure. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this Policy is read together with, and does not expand, those documents.

2Try Before You Pay

Every EA is free before it is paid. Each Expert Advisor we publish can be downloaded at no cost and run in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester before you buy a live licence.

Our published metrics reconcile with the raw MT5 .html reports shipped alongside them, and our backtests use Dukascopy tick data, not broker data. We test on our own demo and prop accounts before we ask you to pay. You are expected to evaluate the free download and the proof archive, and to satisfy yourself, before purchasing.

Choosing to use, or not to use, the free evaluation does not affect your statutory rights. If the licence you pay for is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, those rights still apply and cannot be waived — buying after a free trial is not an acceptance of the product "as is".

3Digital Goods & Immediate Access

Licences are digital goods delivered instantly. When a payment is credited, we release or unlock your activation key (a QQ- key) and the licence takes effect immediately.

This applies equally to one-time lifetime licences and to monthly plans: supply begins when the activation key is released.

You acknowledge that supply begins as soon as the key is released, that a licence cannot be "returned", and that access, once granted, cannot be un-granted in a way that reverses the value you have already received.

The EU and UK 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content is waived only where you gave express prior consent to immediate supply and acknowledged at checkout that you lose the right once supply begins — which we confirm to you by email. Where you did not give that consent, the withdrawal right is unaffected. Consumer rights that cannot be waived are preserved — see Consumer Rights below.

4No Refunds for Change of Mind

Free to try first, so no refunds for change of mind. Because every EA is free to download and backtest before purchase, we do not give refunds for change of mind, dissatisfaction, or trading outcomes. This does not affect your legal rights: if a licence we supply is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you are entitled to a remedy (including a refund) under the laws that apply to you — for example the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the EU Digital Content Directive, or the Australian Consumer Law — and nothing in this Policy limits those rights.

This includes, as examples and not as limits: change of mind; failure to test the free version first; the EA not producing the profit or results you hoped for; drawdown, losses, or margin calls on your trading account; broker, VPS, latency, spread, slippage, or execution differences; disagreement with settings or strategy; account, device, or eligibility problems on your side; or a plan you no longer use.

  • No profit warranty We do not warrant that any EA will be profitable, will match backtested or simulated results, or is fit for your particular purpose. Past and simulated performance does not predict future results.
  • Your trading, your risk You assume all risk of loss from live or demo trading. Trading losses are never grounds for a refund.
  • Third-party conditions Broker execution, spreads, swaps, slippage, VPS, connectivity, and platform behaviour are outside our control and are not refundable events.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. This does not exclude any non-waivable consumer guarantee: your statutory rights if a licence is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality are unaffected.

5Limited Discretionary Exceptions

We may, at our sole discretion, review a narrow set of cases. Nothing in this section creates a right to a refund. Any exception is a goodwill act, decided case by case, and it neither sets a precedent nor waives this Policy.

In practice, the only situations we may consider are a duplicate on-chain payment for the same licence, or a documented failure on our side to deliver a working activation key that we are unable to resolve. We do not consider trading outcomes, dissatisfaction, or non-use.

Any goodwill refund we approve is limited, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, to the amount you actually paid us for the affected licence, and never more. We may instead offer a credit or re-issue the key. The managed (profit-share) arrangement is interest-only and is not sold, so it falls outside refunds entirely; the payable plans are per Expert Advisor — UpStake ($49/month or $249 lifetime) and Trident ($199/month or $999 lifetime), while WakuWaku is free.

6Crypto Payments Are Final

On-chain USDT payments cannot be reversed. We take direct USDT payments, wallet-to-wallet, on the Tron network (TRC-20, the default) and, optionally, on EVM networks. There is no processor, intermediary, or custodian who can claw a transaction back — not you, not us, not anyone.

You are solely responsible for sending the correct amount, on the correct network, to the correct address, and for pasting an accurate transaction hash. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for funds lost to wrong-network transfers, wrong addresses, mistyped amounts, failed or dropped transactions, or third-party wallet or exchange errors.

If we ever approve a discretionary refund, it will be paid only in USDT, only to the wallet that sent the original payment, net of network fees, and only after we re-verify the payment on-chain. We are not responsible for any exchange-rate movement between the original payment and any refund.

7Consumer Rights

Nothing here removes rights you cannot legally waive. If you deal with us as a consumer, you may have mandatory statutory rights under the law of your jurisdiction that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.

This Policy does not exclude, restrict, or modify any such non-waivable right, and nothing in it should be read as an attempt to do so. Where a term of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, that right prevails, and the remainder of this Policy continues to apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Our total aggregate liability to you is limited as set out in the Limitation of Liability section of our Terms of Service, which controls, and that section does not limit any consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

8How to Request a Review

Email us with the details before doing anything else. Send your request to legal@qubitquantglobal.com within a reasonable time of the payment. Manual crypto payments and any refund request are reviewed by hand by an admin.

  • Account the email on your Qubit Quant account and the licence or plan involved (for example, UpStake or Trident, monthly or lifetime).
  • Payment proof the on-chain transaction hash, the network used (Tron or EVM), and the sending wallet address.
  • Reason a clear description of the issue and, for a delivery failure, the steps you have already tried.

Submitting a request does not entitle you to a refund and does not pause any subscription. We aim to respond within a reasonable period. Our decision, made to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, is final, except for your non-waivable consumer rights.

9Chargebacks & Disputes

There is no chargeback path for USDT, and disputes come to us first. Because payments are direct on-chain transfers with no card network or processor, no chargeback mechanism exists. We ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve any billing concern directly; this does not affect your right to contact a relevant authority, ombudsman, or alternative dispute resolution body, or to pursue any legal remedy available to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, initiating a fraudulent or bad-faith dispute, or attempting to reverse a validly credited payment, is a breach of the Terms. We may suspend or revoke your activation key and licence, disable related accounts, and withhold further Services, without refund.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, from any loss, cost, or claim (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of this Policy, your misuse of the Services, or any dispute you bring in bad faith. Our total aggregate liability to you is limited as set out in the Limitation of Liability section of our Terms of Service, which controls.

10Changes to This Policy & Governing Law

We may update this Policy. We may revise this Refund Policy from time to time; the version that applies to you is the one published here at the time of your payment.

This Policy is governed by the laws of [[JURISDICTION]], to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and without prejudice to your mandatory local consumer rights.
