UpStake
Set & forget
A gold-standard system for the gold market.
UpStake trades the London-session volatility on gold — the hours each day when XAUUSD moves with the most force. It waits for that window, catches the day's decisive breakout, and rides it — one trade a day, each with a defined stop and no averaging down. Backtested on 11+ years of 100% real ticks — and the risk level is yours to choose.
The proof — advanced
Same engine, your risk. Conservative grows steady (~23% drawdown); Advanced sizes up for more — and swings harder (~46%).

Set it once, leave it running

What you actually do: attach it once to an XAUUSD chart, pick your risk profile, enable auto-trading, and leave it. It manages entries, stops and exits on its own.
The strategy depends on session timing, so the GMT offset is the single most important input — set it wrong and the timing windows shift, which disrupts the whole strategy. Take special care with it both in backtesting and live.
- In the Strategy Tester: the manual GMT offset is always used, even if auto-detect is turned on.
- Live: if auto GMT is on, the EA detects the broker's offset automatically; if it's off, your manual offset is used — so make sure the manual value matches your broker.
Why others blow up — and UpStake doesn't
Add to losers
They use a grid and martingale — piling on more positions as the trade goes against them. It works until one trend doesn't stop, and the account is gone.
One trade, your risk
No grid, no martingale, no adding to losers. One breakout a day, a defined stop on the trade, and a risk level you choose.
That's the difference between hoping it survives and designing it to.
Built-in protection

Win rate is ~50% — UpStake profits by letting winners outrun losers (its wins are bigger than its losses), so expect losing streaks (worst run: 11 trades). Size for the drawdown you can hold, and backtest before going live.
